Simply The Best CITV

Simply the Best CITV was a series of specially commissioned LWT programmes celebrating forty years of Children’s ITV. The highlight was an awards ceremony featuring top children’s celebrities, pop groups and many ITV favourites.

As well as sourcing and booking celebrities, my job involved liaising with TV Times and BIG! Magazine to negotiate substantial pieces of ‘exclusive’ coverage.

I also looked after the vote counting system and organised interviews for the CITV commemorative magazine.

The highlight was definitely french-kissing the dog from ITV’s Woof!
